It's unusual for us to be booked solid on a Monday because I usually reserve Mondays as stay at home and get started on school for the week days. But, we couldn't pass up meeting up with our friends from the "Down East" homeschool group since they were going to be 2 minutes from our house today at Owl's Hollow! It's a store with tons of great quality children's toys. They had a structure fire over a year ago and when they reopened, they include an indoor imagination play space full of imaginary toys like play food, costumes, a little Lego, fort building kit, snap circuits, a hospital, store, contruction site, pirate ship, etc. Plus the kids were able to spend their own birthday or reading money. Yeah!
This afternoon, Mommy had an appointment, so a close friend watched the kids. And the day ended with Justin's basketball practice. So very full, and tired! Here's a few pics.
This was a backlit wall with water bottles filled with food coloring. It was awesome looking! It was in a small room that had a black light, a few tables with glowing tops, and see through toys.
