Day 41 Love and ants?

Ok, dumb title.  We had our Valentine's Day party at our homeschool co op today.  One of our moms had some great activities about how Valentine's Day is about how people (or things) go together, like peas and carrots, or compound words! She also shared different aspect of God's love with the kids and had them put together big floor puzzles that had Bible verses on them.  They passed a huge heart cut out between them using only their neck/head, or elbows, or knees.  They of course decorated envelopes to put Valetines in and had yummy treats to share.  And we all wore red, pink, or white.  And we made goody bags for homeless people downtown to share the love of God with.  I love our themed days!

And then it was time for.....Ant-Man! It was a good show, and if you are following the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you have to see this movie! If you don't, you could potentially get lost in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie coming up in a couple of months.  My husband thinks it's just a dork-fest, but, it's not like Guardians of the Galaxy, which is another whole arena of this made up universe.  I'm glad I bought the movie at a used DVD place (that still rents DVD's!) I also bought Disney's newest adaptation of Cinderella which is soooooooo good! Keturah has already watched that.  I guess you could say, we really love our movies!

And for the love of all hair stylists, would someone please get this boy a haircut!  Mommy's sorry attempt at trimming his bangs and ears turned into this.  Doesn't he look like the skinny guy in Dumb & Dumber? Yup, we'll get it fixed soon.  If not tomorrow, then Friday.  Hopefully tomorrow.  Poor Justin. He said, "It's not actually as bad as I thought it would be."  This kid is a keeper!
