I don't always take off local, regional, or national holidays from our homeschooling but we really need a break after 4 days of constant activity. Plus it was -4 degrees F this morning with -23 windchill! No one had to go out and we didn't want to! We read a little bit and then enjoyed some new things, like fancy colored ducktape and a blanket fort! The middles don't remember doing blanket forts in Indiana and we haven't done one here on PEI before, so I decided to remedy it. Abishai liked it too! We also finally had our Valentine's Day dinner I had planned for Saturday night, which was baked potatoes and beef strip steak with mushroom gluten free beef gravy and some veggies. Yum! And my nose finally stopped running after many many days and many many kleenex boxes being used up by the family. Just a headcold, but it lasted forever. Yeah for being on the mend!
This kid!
This indoor thermometer doesn't go below zero!
Very fair and same humidity as inside.
Mommy and baby in the same spot Abishai was born. He was born at home, but it wasn't planned that way!
Blanket fort!
Even Abishai enjoyed the fort!
Peek a boo!
Nice and comfy!
These goofs had a good time laughing back and forth at each other. Abishai likes to laugh a lot and does it on purpose so he can see our reactions. He's quite the class clown!
