Day 69 A Day at the Gym

Today our homeschool co op took a day off our normal routine and headed to a local church with a gym in the basement! We were supposed to actually be going on a sleigh ride, but because of our abnormally mild winter, there was no snow on the ground until, get this, it started snowing this morning AFTER we canceled that activity.  We had a great time anyway, and Abishai especially loved having the freedom to scoot everywhere with all his friends.  I really do think I have another extrovert on my hands because he just lights up around all the kids and follows them around, doing what they do.  Although, he still doesn't like other mommies holding him yet, and that's ok with me most of the time, lol.  We were able to power through school this afternoon and then Jared took the middle kids to see Eddie the Eagle.  You can ask them all about it because Justin was VERY impressed by how far the guy ski jumped.  Well, I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking (take not of the BIG MOMENT in the middle of the set).

Her face, oh my goodness, love her spirit!

This one isn't far behind that daughter of ours.  All personality right there.

And this older middle child is all stick legs.  He was so excited to show off his basketball moves today.

Abishai and his hanging out buddy, Joelle, who actually tried to pick him up today.  These two are adorable together!

Too bad we don't own this classic toy, but my parents had one for us growing up.  I think it stayed at my grandma's though.

The BIG MOMENT of the day!!! Abishai sat in a toddler chair with no seatbelts and ate at a big kid table!  I wasn't sure if it would work because we've never tried it, but he did great!  And the little guy next to him, Hudson, is such a hoot!  We just had to be careful that Abishai didn't take Hudson's cheese off his plate, lol.

Abishai preferred holding the back of the chair, so when he got into a corner, he would walk around the edge of the chair, and push it back out, and then walk around again to get behind it.  "I just want to do what the big kids do, Mom!"

Daddy helped Keturah make this big Duplo tower tonight.
