Day 102 Watching it all melt away...

As predicted, it just warm enough for some of the snow to melt, so Abishai and I got outside for a walk!  Poor kid, I could tell you felt like Alphie in "A Christmas Story" saying "I can't put my hands down!"  I'm sure he wanted to walk, too.  But it was better than staying within the confines of home.  This kid gets super upset if there's a tiny chance of being outside and no one lets him have it.  I mean a screaming, knock down, drag out fight kind of fit.  Oh boy, summer is going to be one interesting season this year.

Keturah had earned more money by reading and giving oral book reports, so she was able to spend it on a new Lego set today.  And boy is it cool!  Lots of parts spin by using gears (science!), and the runway/stage can be reconfigured.  Daddy helped her put it together, but I think she's just about ready to do the sets all by herself.

Grandpa flies home tomorrow (boo!), so we had one last treat at Goji's!  It's always a contest to see how many toppings we add to our frozen yogurt.  Some of us would rather have the toppings!
Thankfully, they have a dairy free option like peanut butter almond milk frozen yogurt.  Yeah!  Justin showed off his crazy concoction with this crazy face!
