Year 2, Day 137: A Walk in the Park

We literally took a walk TO the park today and played there for like 1 1/2 hrs.  Then we took naps.  Well, Abishai and I did.  I didn't pack a single thing today.  And we plan to go to bed early.  Jared's been listening to an audiobook until past midnight the last couple of nights, and I've been bad about my bedtime, so we are both beat.  I'll try to get things moving along (pun intended) a bit more tomorrow.  I'm glad we could have a breather and we could just go from riding bikes to the park without missing a beat.  THAT felt great to have that much time in the schedule to not have to worry about appointments or saving energy for later.  Work tomorrow, closing on Thursday, and hopefully the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with all 4 kid by myself on Friday!  Woot! Woot!  That's the goal anyway.

Uh, I think everyone traded places or something.

Gorgeous morning! 78 degrees with a 15mph cool breeze!  A little warm in the sun, but perfect in the shade.....which is what the park down near the water in Charlottetown is like in August!

Abishai wanted to help push Mommy on the merry go round!

It's the WORST merry go round though and take a ton of effort.  But, Justin can move it, if only Abishai is on it.

Abishai can now climb up the tunnel all my himself!

Abishai did NOT like it when Justin slid down the tunnel the wrong way, thus his open mouth.

Justin's foot is in the way, but Abishai willingly went down all the slides today!  He was afraid of them a couple of months ago, after NOT being afraid of them last year.  Odd, but true.

We are closing on a house on Thursday!

Abishai wanted to be just like Justin and have milk in his cereal!  So, I gave him a tiny amount and he did eat the cereal and drink the milk!

Later he spilled juice, and without any prompting, he licked it off the counter - just like Daddy showed him!  Monkey see, monkey do!

And another proud but cute moment, watermelon smiley faces!

Words can't caption the cuteness.

Adorable, the both of them!

Delay fish didn't want to go to bed, so he hid in Babee's room.

Being silly - and he laughed a ton at himself!

Another very important thing to note: Abishai recognizes that he needs his diaper changed.  He even got the diaper and wipes by himself!  We are a go for potty training AFTER we move!
