A little bit of homework, a little bit of playing, and a lot of time with the teen by ourselves. We picked Benaiah up early from school for an appointment, and then went shopping using some gift cards for Christmas. The pictures are what we did NOT buy, but thought were neat. Then we had dinner with the folks. I've got a bad headache this evening, so this is all I got. Tomorrow we have a big field trip for the middles, so the oldest and youngest get to hang out together at Grandma's house.

Scratch and sniff Pop! I loved Strawberry Shortcake as a kid. I'm still trying to find the Pop of Green Arrow, which I'm sure I can find on Amazon, but it's still fun to look! |

Justin wasn't with us, so I took these pictures of the Lego Batman movie books and sets for him at Barnes and Noble. I think 1/3 of the store is toys, and 1/3 is movies/vinyl/cd's and gifts and maybe, MAYBE the other 1/3 is actual books. Kind of disappointed about that. |

Abishai was trying to help Grandpa play cards with Keturah. Keturah won once and Grandpa won once. Grandma had to explain the game to Grandpa. |

Benaiah, aka Stinky Feet, has a new hobby! He has taken to figure out the algorithms for Rubix cubes! Cool! So he bought himself one tonight. He's been borrowing one for a friend. He can solve it in under 5 minutes. |

Grandpa's been replaced by two munchkins! Abishai had been there, with the other kids, all afternoon and had a nap, but anytime he's around all of us, he gets wired! He ran and ran and ran around the house and didn't want to put his shoes and jacket on to go. Grandpa had spun around in the den after watching Abishai enjoying the middles spinning, and Abishai thought it was hilarious! He started to spin as well! And then Gpa and Daddy played toss the baby and Abishai couldn't get enough! And THEN Daddy started tossing Abishai up in the air in the family room with the high ceiling and he adored it! He vruoomed his cars all over the place, brought them to the dinner table, then onto the couch when he wanted to snuggle, and he even had them in his overall pockets. And his favorite "toy" is the battery operated candles that you turn on and off with a remote! |

While we were out, we found Abishai's birthday gifts! On clearance PLUS an extra 20% off! Maybe this is a perk of having a birthday come so soon after Christmas. Super excited to give them to him in a month! Yes, tomorrow, Abishai turns 23 months! Where did the time go? |
