Jared cleaned up more of his stuff today from the office with his mom and Benaiah and they came up with 10 boxes of books PLUS other boxes of knick knacks! I'm not the only book hoarder in this house! I think our next new permanent home has to include a real library, not a sitting room or office, but a LIBRARY. If there's about 50 books per box, and we have 50 boxes, that equals what? 2,500 books AT LEAST. Um, yeah.
Anyway, worked on the kids' rooms today, and packed their clothes for Indiana. One week from today, they'll be leaving me for a month. Hard to fathom. Just Keturah and Justin, with Abishai and Benaiah to follow with me in a month. Today we had another final playdate with some more friends, Sarah, Will, and Sam, with mom, Tina. We had to stay inside most of the time because the wind has been howling at 25 mph all day and the temperature was probably 40 degrees (versus 65 degrees yesterday!) And despite most of the toys are already boxed up, they still had fun on electronics and with the "dinky" cars (as they call them up here, instead of matchbox cars.) Abishai LOVES cars, and Justin is getting into knowing which kind is which thanks to the Need for Speed video game.

Lobster season is underway (much earlier than last year because of sea ice!), and it's $5 a lb. Yum! |
