Today was another day of appointments, enjoying the cool, but gorgeous sunshine, and finishing up some paperwork. PLUS it was "play the tourist" or "staycation" day for us! We headed up to Cavendish, home to everything Anne of Green Gables and Lucy Maud Montgomery. I hadn't seen the historical birthplace of LMM, nor stopped at the cemetery where she and her husband are buried, so we hit those two tourist stops today. Plus, we said good bye to the big attraction, Green Gables, but only from the parking lot because I didn't want to pay the fee again to go through it. And finished with dashing into the provincial park to the traditional setting of water and the red cliffs. It was a beautiful afternoon. As far as regular life goes, I finalized the US taxes to send in and Benaiah washed the walls in the dining room for me. The last few items also left the building today for new homes. And Abishai was Mr. Moody and Mr. Crazy, and Mr. Temper Tantrum all day, starting at 6 am. I looked up what direction the windows face in the new condo to reassure myself that maybe, just maybe he'll sleep until 7 or 8. Abishai's current window faces east, so it affects his morning wake up time. The condo's windows face north, so it will be great for kids, not so great for adults who will need to get up for work. Here's just a FEW pictures of where we went. I'll talk about the middles and their day in a moment.

Small house in a very quiet location! |

Love the pink lamp! and unique clock! |

Not sure if this is the same one as LMM slept in but it is a nice period piece. Lots of great period pieces, but I wondered how affluent her grandparents really were, or if lots ot this stuff was donated to the house. |

One interesting fact that I've learned while living on PEI is that Asians love Anne! They flock to PEI and vacation here because of her. And the musical even took a full cast, crew and props/backgrounds to Asia to do perform. |

I'm going to miss this! |

The kids had a great time with Byrce at the Childrens' Museum! |
