I'm so grateful God rested on the 7th day of Creation and set the pattern for His people to follow! I so totally needed it! We went to church, then went to the in laws for an early nap, followed by father's day lunch at El Rodeo, and another nap in the afternoon! I felt so much better taking the time to rest. I did manage to pull out a couple of lamps for the bedrooms. And we did go to Meijer (a superstore like Wal-Mart) and got a large trash can for the garage and some fruit and veggies among other little stuff like hand soap. I couldn't find a bar of soap anywhere in our stuff! I think I gave it all away, lol! Anyway, it was a great day.

Ssshhhhh, don't tell them, but I got special gifts like this one for Justin and Keturah when they arrive home. Benaiah, if he wanted to, would get this one. He's not afraid to admit that Finding Nemo is still his favorite movie! |

What are you looking at Dad? Abishai is our little shopping buddy. |

Sunday after church and before lunch, swinging on Grandpa's front porch. |

Abishai learned how to dip! And he loves salsa! BTW, Gary isn't fond of mexican food but it was the only choice on Father's Day. Everyone else went to the places where you can get steaks and potatoes. We made do. It was quiet and sweet. Happy Father's Day! |
