Day 160 So many things in one day

The main event today was a friend and her grandson coming over to wash some of the walls.  That meant we had to first wait on the person to come this morning to take the couch.  That couch has been in the Johnson family for a long time.  I was kind of sad to see it go because it was a sleeper couch with a laz-y-boy recliner in it, and I like the colors.  Abishai won't know what to do with himself!  We also had to move furniture to the middle of the Benaiah's room and the living room.  So, little by little we keep rearranging furniture and boxes to accomodate our current needs and thoughts about how truck packing day should go.  The middles ran errands with Grandma after doing school in the morning.  Pretty typical day. T-minus 5 days until truck loading day.

Yup, he's my kid.

Baba! Let me listen too!

Couch gone, stuff put in the middle of the room.

After the couch went, and the walls were washed, we brought down boxes from Keturah's room to prep that room for cleaning, see how much we really have, and just save time and people's knees on Tuesday.  Here's cutie doing his thing.

He wanted to get down right away, but I can see us showing him how to climb the boxes in the truck.
These are "grow a ____" eggs(?) or logs(?) that the middles got at the summer reading program at the library.  Some are working really well, and others, not so much.

Justin found an unique way to get the recycling to the street.

Who needs inches and feet when you can measure rugs by the length of a kid?

Oo! There's a dinosaur in there!

And here's one with a fox!

Woah! He looks so much older with his hair this short and all gelled up! Can't believe he'll be 11 in September!
