Day 157 Slow and steady

Slow and steady wins the race! Took a breather today by going to church and puttering on the computer while the youngest and oldest males slept.  Abishai has a fever and it might be linked to teething, or his throat might hurt, b/c he's not eating very much.  I got all my pictures and videos uploaded from various sources and then deleted them from those sources so I don't have to worry about running out of space on them in the next few weeks.  Then I worked on the bathroom and various little things when they woke up.  I put notes on cupboard and closet doors indicating if it was empty, or to leave it alone, or if it's been cleaned.  Just trying to do as much as possible before hand.  I've determined that we will live out of suitcases starting on Sunday so the rest of the clothes and extra stuff can be put away and boxes taped ready to go.  We're getting rid of the last 3 or 4 big items in the middle of the week, so those won't be in the way anymore.  And then we'll gather things together to the middle of the rooms, or all into the living room so we can wash walls.  Then all we have to do is wash the floors before we leave (there's laminate in the downstairs, carpet upstairs).  I want to try and have breathing room on Sunday and Monday before truck loading day.

Jared loves ANY chance he can to take a snooze with Abishai.

Just testing out something on my phone's camera, but it came out cute enough to share.  Hi, Socks!
Squirmy baby didn't want his picture taken, but we are trying to show that he's wearing Benaiah's favorite Nemo pj's (18mo).
Benaiah's post birthday laziness.  I don't know how he's going to stay comfortable when the couch disappears this week.
Grandma and Grandpa have very generous neighbors.  The kids have wanted a scooter thing like this one for YEARS.  They were ecstatic when one was passed down to them today!

Because Indiana's school year is over, this weekend was promotion weekend, so Justin is now in 6th grade!  The middle school and high school students at a paint wars event with lots and lots of games that including lots and lots of paint!  I was told this was green point he has on, but it looks blue to me.  The shirt WAS white, btw.  And the pants already had stains.  Grandpa had to help him in the shower in order to get all the paint off!
