Day 159 Going Green

Green grass, green turtles (matches with the green in Justin's hair a couple of days ago.)  Green wash bucket, green curtains.  Yup, I guess I like green!  While the middles did their things with Grandma and Grandpa (mostly playing outside with their neighbors, again, yeah!), we cleaned out the couch which will be taken away tomorrow morning, took down the upstairs baby gate, closed up some random boxes in the basement, and cleaned some kitchen cupboards (and did regular chores and homework for B).  Then we got to have the fun of going to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, just Benaiah and I.  It was definitely a fun movie, but if you are sensitive to how women sometimes dress, then, you might want to skip this one.  If you understand TMNT, the 4 turtles are named after 4 Renaissance artists, Raphael, Michaelangelo, Leonardo, and Donatello.  We have now identified which member(s) of the family match which character, which is a common practice in our household when we watch movies with multiple characters.  We, the J6, love our movies and I hope we get to continue watching them regularly in Indiana, especially now that the tickets will be a little cheaper and I think they still have $2 movie theaters where they show the movies a couple of months after it premiered for a cheap price.  Anyway, let's see what else happened today.

Mr. Plumber? Or Benaiah cleaning the cupboard under the sink for me.
Double duty, vacuuming the floor AND playing with the baby.  Abishai feels much better today.

Bigness doing his thing:washing.

Littleness doing his thing: watching.

Friends in the driveway in Indiana.

Grow your own?  But what?

A fake egg hatching.

Haircut time!  Maybe Justin's hair will blonder this summer now that we'll be back in Indiana.

Pretty dogwood tree in a friends' yard that Benaiah was mowing for them.

Big vs. little.

I LOVE Abishai's hair! And his mullet! Just a little longer and we'll be in Indiana to do his first haircut with a special family friend.
I'll miss our cheaper movie nights where we can get a discount on popcorn and snacks, too.  We got into the movie for free because of our Scene points, too.  Here is Leonardo, a figurine that fits on top of a special collectors' cup.  I bought the popcorn, Benaiah bought the drink, and then gave me the special guy.

Benaiah also made up this degree for himself.  We call it "creative writing." We also had a great laugh over it, and many laughs about many things today, including, but not limited to, Grandpa pronouncing Raphael weirdly on the phone.  I think my "derpameter" and "sarcasm meter" are reading high levels of derpishness and sarcasm.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows.  Good bye Charlottetown Cineplex!
