Here he is!

Benaiah had a great day, with a tiny bit of homework. No textbooks to carry around, yeah! He shared his lunch with someone who forgot theirs and hung out with some 8th-10th graders. Day 1 down, 179 more days to go. |
Horribly rainy day today, so we stayed home and will go to the state fair another day. So, it was a low key kind of day. Here's what I got.
The bruise the day after. |
The rest of the family got hungry and started buzzing around the kitchen, so put them to work! Grating cheese for Justin. |
Mr. Boss keeping an eye on everybody. |
Keturah cutting peppers. |
Drumroll....it's cauliflower crust pizza! I thought it was great, the kids, not so much. |
A little crispy on the edge, but it didn't burn on the bottom and didn't stick to the pan. |
Sauce, chicken, peppers, and cheese all on a cauliflower crust! |
I used half a head of cauliflower. Also, in the top of the photo are zucchini pancakes. I added a bit of THM baking blend to the normal amount of eggs and zucchini to help it stay together. They need a bit more flavoring. |
I helped Keturah with her sewing today! She listened well and took her time. I had to go back over a few stitches, but I'm very impressed. She's at just the right age to start doing more handycrafts! |
Meanwhile, Justin studied Bible Bowl, Abishai made messes, we went to the library, I took a nap (stayed up too late again), Jared had a meeting, Keturah sewed and listened to her Kids' Choir CD and Benaiah went to school. Average day.
